Janice R. Mode,85 of Brookville, Indiana, passed away at Brookville Healthcare Center Saturday, June 4, 2011.She was born May 22, 1926 in Brookville, Indiana to John and Gertrude M. (Lang) Mode, she was a lifelong resident of Brookville, she was a former telephone operator and after that worked in the office at Franklin Casket Company and successors for over 37 years. She was a member of Brookville United Methodist Church, a former member of the Delts and she was an avid card player.Surviors include: a Niece- Beth (Wink) Foster of Brookville, Indiana, Nephew- Ray (Monica) Nutty of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, 5 Great Nieces and Nephews and 4 Great, Great Nieces and Nephews.She was preceded in death by her Parents and Sister Mary Louise Nutty.Family and friends may gather at the Funeral Home Wednesday June 8, 2011 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM, a Memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM, where Rev. Curtis Bond, Pastor of Brookville United Methodist Church will officiate.Memorial contributions may be made to the Brookville United Methodist Church.
