Jason J. Brooks, age 34, passed away Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born June 12, 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Gary Wayne Brooks and Luci Christian. Jason was a gentle soul who adored his adopted Chihuahua mix Sissy. He also loved fishing, Steelers football, and his morning coffee on the deck. Prior to his illness he was a self-employed construction worker.Those left to honor Jason's memory include; his mother, Luci Perisutti of Brookville, father, Gary Wayne Brooks of Middletown, OH; brother, Wade Wiles of Columbus, OH; sister, Gretchen Wiles of Brookville and niece, Elizabeth Grace Wiles of Brookville.Visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. The funeral service will begin at 8 p.m with Pastor Scott Nobbe officiating. Cremation will follow.Memorial donations may be directed to Leukemia Research in honor of Jason James Brooks.
