Jerome R. Koetter 63, of Scottsburg, Indiana and formerly of Franklin County, Indiana diedThursday, September 2, 2010 in Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.He was born on September 26, 1946 in Franklin County and was the only child of Omer and Marie Weber Koetter.Jerome was a retired employee of Franklin Casket Compnay of Brookville, IndianaSurvivors include a daughter and son-in-law - Amanda and Chuck Lynn of Brookville, Indiana, a son and daughter-in-law - Mark and Tanya Koetter of Laurel, Indiana and a step-son - Mark Gabbard of Brookville, Indiana. Also surviving are two grandchildred - Wyatt and Whitney Lynnand he was preceded in death by his parents. The visitation for Jerome will be on Saturday, September 11 from 3:00 to 5 :00 PM at Cook Funeral Home 929 Main Street Brookville, Indiana 47012 followed by a Memorial Service which wil start at 5:00 PM. Father Karl Pikus, Pastor of St. Philomena Church in Oak Forest, Indiana will officiate. Additional services will be at the convenience of the family.Memorial donations may be given to the Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
