Joan Haessig, 76, of Milan, Indiana died Friday, October 2, 2009 at Margaret-Mary Community Hosptial in Batesville, Indiana.Born April 25, 1933 in Winchester, Indiana she was the daughter of Paul K. and Martha J. (Freeman) Mosier. She married L. Robert Haessig, who survives. She worked with her husband in Haessig Market and she also worked as a homemaker.In addition to her Husband, L. Robert Haessig, she is survived by her Children, Steve and Jeannine Ashcraft of Guilford, Indiana, Shannon and Chuck Evans of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Gretchen and Joe Berger of Milan, Indiana; and Andrea Haessig of Bellevue, Kentucky; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; and one Sister, Marsha Mosier of Rising Sun, Indiana.She was preceded in death by her Parents.The Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, 47041. Visitation will also be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Martha DeHoff, Associate of His Hands Extended Ministries of Sunman, Indiana, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sunman.Memorial donations may be directed to the Sunman Volunteer Fire Department or to the Sunman Life Squad.Family members will serve as pallbearers.
