IT 3 Jonathan M. Tinch, US Navy,Information Systems Technician Petty Officer 3rd Class Jonathan M. Tinch, US Navy, 22 of Everton, Indiana, passed away at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis on February 17th, 2012.He was born January 31st, 1990 in Connersville, IN to Rebecca Baker Witte and Matthew D. Tinch.He was currently serving with the US Navy aboard the USS Reuben James FFG 57 stationed in Pearl Harbor. He loved to hunt and fish in his free time. He was a 2008 Graduate of Franklin County High School and a member of Bernard Hurst Post #77- American Legion in Brookville.Survivors include: Mother Rebecca S. Witte of Brookville, Father and step Mother- Matthew D. and Shannon L. Tinch of Everton, Brother- Aaron Witte of Brookville, Step-Brothers- Joshua M. Steele and Jacob R. Steele of Everton, Grandparents- Jean and Paul Tinch of Everton, Carolyn (Thomas) and Van Schaffer of Murfeesboro, Tennessee, Janice and Ron Baker of Everton, Great Grandparents- Nancy B. Tinch of Brookville, Ena Faye Lakes of Brookville, Helen and Curtis Baker of Everton, also many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.He was preceded in death by his Grandparents- Virgil Lakes, Paul Tinch, Sr. and Margaret And Cletus Thomas.Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street in Brookville, IN 47012. the Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 23rd at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, where Marty Wright and Chriss Lovett will preside. Burial will be in Everton Community Cemetery, Everton, IN with Military Honors presented by the US Navy.Memorials may be to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, The Simon Center for Research (IU Medical Center), or to the Bernard Hurst Post #77- American Legion.
