Josh (Poppa) Brown, age 43, of Brookville, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 17, 2024 after a long battle with Huntington's Disease.  He was born November 11, 1980 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son to Donald and Melinda Kluemper Brown.  Josh enjoyed fishing, chess, and wrestling.  He was a huge fan of both Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends.

Survivors include, one sister April (Larry) Gabbard, one brother Jessie (Tara) Brown, close friends Lori Scott and TJ Emery, significant other Sharon Schuler, nieces Brooklyn and Shaylin, nephews Peyton, Nolan, Evan and great-nephew Ashton. Also surviving are uncles, Phil (Cindy) Brown, Kenny (Linda) Brown, and John (Vicki) Waltz, aunts Jan (Harley) Orr, and Marcia (Jackie, deceased) Berry, and Amy (Tim) Mullin and several close cousins and friends he considered family.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

To honor and respect Josh's wishes, cremation was chosen.  A Memorial service for Josh will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial donations in Josh's name can be directed to: Summerfield Health Care Center, 34 South Main Street, Cloverdale, IN  46120.
