Julia Diane Foster, of Brookville, Indiana, was born on December 15, 1961 in Westminster, California, a daughter to Richard and Odette Loubard Craighead. She worked at Batesville Tool and Die for 11 years before her illness. Julia loved having fun with her family and friends. At the age of 53, she passed away at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Those surviving who will cherish Julia's memory include her daughters, Heather Matthews and Jackie Foster of Brookville; grandchildren, Haley Foster, Daisy Durham, Lizzy Matthews, Baron Durham, and Jayley Foster; sister, Janine Bentley of Blooming Grove, and brother, Scott Craighead of Connersville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Craighead. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. Friends may visit with Julia's family from 12 noon till time of service at 2:00. Burial will follow in Everton Community Cemetery. Family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
