Kathleen R. Cook, 89, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Fayette Regional Health System and Hospital in Connersville, IN.She was born February 6, 1923 in Franklin County, Indiana, a daughter to Virgil and Grace Marie (Martin) Murphy. Kathleen married William H. Cook on November 8, 1941, and he preceded her in death on October 26, 1993. She was a homemaker and most importantly, a loving mother and grandmother.Kathleen is survived by children; Marvin (Janice) Cook, Sharon (Glenn) Grubb, Terry Cook (Karen Lake), and Bonita (Mark) Stewart, all of Brookville, IN; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Loren (Helen) Murphy of Brookville, IN; sister-in-law, Nellrose Cook of New Point, IN, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Kay Ayala and son, Gary Cook.Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, IN. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
