*******Please note that because of weather both the services and visitation have been moved to Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman*********** Kenneth Eldridge, age 83, of Milan, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his residence. Born March 22, 1931 in Carcassonne, Kentucky, he was the son of Colonel and Angelina Caudill Eldridge. He married Glenora F. Bryant on March 5, 1955 in Van, Kentucky. He was a construction worker and finish carpenter with Scudder Brothers and later Lyness Construction. Kenneth did a lot of beautiful woodwork in churches and nursing homes, and worked with Lyness Construction for 7 years in the Federal building in Cincinnati. He worked very hard to provide education opportunities for his children and was proud to say that they all graduated from college. In his spare time, Kenneth loved watching Kentucky basketball. Those surviving who will honor Kenneth's memory include his wife of almost 60 years, Glenora; sons, Gary L. Eldridge of Grand Island, FL, Gregory A. Eldridge of Ft. Wright, KY, and Randy L. (Don Ann) Eldridge of Secane, PA; beloved daughter-in-law, Janie Eldridge of Rising Sun, IN; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Meghan, Sarah, Whitney and Emily; great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Brooklyn, Nicholas and Joshua; brother, Clinton Eldridge of Batesville; sister, Ila Richards of South Carolina, and many other family and friends who loved him dearly. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Hicks and a brother, Clyde Eldridge. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. and burial will follow in Little Memory Old Regular Baptist Church Cemetery. Family requests memorial donations to Little Memory Church.
