Kenneth George Selke, age 86, a lifelong resident of Sunman, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015. Born August 5, 1928 in Ripley County, he was the son of George and Bertha Vogel Selke. Kenneth owned with his brother Clifford, Selke Implement in Sunman. He was a member of the Kenneth Driver Post #337- Sunman American Legion, Sunman Masonic Lodge #590, Adams Church, and former member of the Sunman Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include sister-in-law, Cherie Selke, niece, Sharolyn Selke, nephews, Dr. Ken (Anita) Selke and Ron Selke; as well as several great, and great, great, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Clifford. Services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Visitation is from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Adams Church Cemetery. Family requests memorial donations to a charity of choice.
