Mary LaVerne March, of Greendale, was born on August 6, 1938 in Busy, Kentucky, a daughter to Abijah (A.B.) and Mary Hoskins Campbell. She was married to Fred March, and he preceded her in death in June of 2008. LaVerne retired from Fernald, and also worked in banking and bookkeeping. She was a member of Sunman Church of Christ, loved to travel, and enjoyed vacationing with her family. LaVerne passed away at the age of 77 on September 17, 2015 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Those surviving who will honor LaVerne's memory include her two brothers, Jack (Connie) Campbell of Cincinnati, and Eugene (Wanda) Canyon Lake, CA; niece and caregiver, Julie (Allen) Brock and family of Sunman, and many other close nieces and nephews. Also surviving are step-children, Steven (Judy) March of Aurora, Jennifer (Richard) Knippenberg of Rising Sun, Constance Klingelhoffer of Aurora, Vicki March of Greendale, Thomas March of Chicago, IL, and David March of Peru, IN, and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Edith Robinson, and brothers, Sam, Arlie, Floyd, Ed, Earl and John Campbell. Funeral services, officiated by Mike Haviland from Sunman Church of Christ, will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Friends may visit with the family from 12 noon until time of service. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sunman.
