Leonard J. Wilhelm, 79, of Cedar Grove, Indiana passed away at his residence on January 25, 2011.He was born February 14, 1931 in Cedar Grove, Indiana to William and Marie (Feller) Wilhelm.He was married to Myrtle (Taylor) Wilhelm who preceded him in death in 2004.Leonard was a retired employee of Cincinnati Inc. and was a Gentleman Farmer, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1950 to 1954, he was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Cedar Grove and a 51 year member of Saint Joseph Post #464 American Legion in Saint Leon, Indiana.Survivors include: Daughters- Kim Wilhelm of West Chester, Ohio, Lisa Wilhelm of Connersville, Indiana and Lori (Tim) Wright of West Harrison, Indiana, Grandchildren- Tyler, Morgan and Casey Wright, a Sister- Dorothy Wilhelm of Cedar Grove, Indiana.He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Brothers- William, Jacob and Julius Wilhelm.Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana 47012, followed by the Funeral Mass at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 11:30AM in Cedar Grove, Indiana where Rev C. Ryan McCarthy will officiate.Burial will be in the Church cemetery, with Military Honors by Saint Joseph Post #464.Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital, Batesville, Indiana
