Leslie "Butch" Brown of Brookville, was born on November 17, 1940 in Weisburg, Indiana, the son of Jim and Nancy Margaret Hillard Brown.  He married Christine Robinson on November 28, 1959 at St. Michael Church, and she preceded him in death on December 11, 2013.  Butch had been an independent owner operator/truck driver since 1971.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, loved camping, and could often be found tinkering on his truck.  On Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the age of 75, Butch passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family.

Those surviving who will honor Butch's memory include his children; Jeff (Billie Jo) Brown, Cindy (Tom) Rader, Bill (Beth) Brown, and Melinda Brown, all of Brookville; six grandchildren; one great grandchild, and a brother, Jim (Norma) Brown of College Corner, OH.  Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Brown.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 4 p.m. till time of service at 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
