Loraine I. Galle, age 77, of Brookville, Indiana died May 4, 2015 at Arbor Grove in Greensburg. Born June 11, 1937 in Lawrenceville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Estal and Ida Boerstler Huber. On April 20, 1974 she and Lowell Galle were united in marriage, and he preceded in her death in September of 1987. Loraine was a bookkeeper, homemaker and assisted on the farm for many years. She was a member of St. Jacobs Church, and was well known for her genealogy research. Bowling was a favorite sport of hers. Survivors include one sister, Shirley Huneke of Batesville; brothers, Allen (Ruth) Huber and Vernon (Betty Jo) Huber, both of Sunman; special niece Linda (Bill) Prifogle of Brookville, and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Loraine was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Ann Roepke and Dorothy Baker Eaton. Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Pastor Lynn Busch of St. Jacob's Church will officiate the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Jacob's Cemetery, Blue Creek.
