Lorena L. Kratzer, age 89, of Plainfield, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence. Born July 7, 1924 in Sunman, Indiana, she was the daughter of Walter and Lorena Grossman Bigney. On May 2, 1945 she married Harland Kratzer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Those surviving include husband, Harland Kratzer; daughter, Bonita (Steve) Conner of Brazil, Indiana; son, Darryl (Sharon) Kratzer of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Jeff Starks, Kris Starks and Teresa Kratzer; great grandchildren, Kortnee Starks and Logan Starks, Sister, Glenna Collier of Batesville, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 from Noon to 1:30 PM, at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041, followed by a graveside memorial service and burial at 2:00 PM at Saint Paul Cemetery, Sunman, Indiana.
