Lucy E. Schneider, 80, of Greensburg, Indiana and formerly of Sunman, Indiana, passed away Friday February 11, 2011 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana.She was born on July 9, 1930 in Hazard, Kentucky to Steve and Chloe (Hensley) McQueen.She was married to Stanley Schneider, who preceded her in death and to Cliff Courtney, who preceded her in death. She was a Homemaker and retired from Hill-Rom Industries and at one time was the owner of the Hollywood Tavern in Lawrenceville, Indiana.Survivors include: Daughters- Carol (Larry) McAllister of Batesville, IN, Nancy (John) Strassel of Dillsboro, IN, Roberta (Matt) Barnes of Lawrenceburg, IN, Judy Schneider of Harrison, OH, Joanne (Phil) Caldwell of Middletown, OH, Lucy Ann Burchett of Greensburg, IN,Sons- Thomas (Debbie) Schneider of Lewisville, IN, Stanley Schneider of Brookville, IN, William Schneider of Greenwood, IN, John (Connie) Schneider of Sunman, IN, 25 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great, Great Grandchild.She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands, Son- Charly Schneider, Grandsons- Joe, Daniel and Steven.Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana 47041, the Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM, burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, in St. Peters, Indiana.Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or to the American Heart Association.
