Marie Yvonne "Mickie" Wendelman, of Sunman, was born on August 5, 1937 in Milan, a daughter to Harris C. and Irene E. Nedderman Hill.  She married James Wendelman on June 1, 1957 at St. John's Lutheran Church - Hubbells Corner and together they raised three children.  Marie worked at Hill-Rom Industries as a secretary for over 30 years.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir.  Marie was an avid movie collector, enjoyed NASCAR, and loved coffee, mowing grass and attending events that her grandchildren participated in.   On Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the age of 81, Marie passed away at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati.

Those surviving who will cherish Marie's memory include her husband, James Wendelman; children, Linda Koelling of Harrison, OH, Sandra (Jerry) Stenger of St. Leon, and David (Janice) Wendelman of Greensburg; 5 grandchildren, Alison Koelling, Samuel Koelling, James Stenger, Jessica Stenger and Bailey Wendelman.  Also surviving is one brother, Daniel J. Hill of San Diego, CA, and one sister-in-law, Janet Hill of Lawrenceburg.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Donald Hill, Lutheria Hill, Harris T. Hill, Martina Borden, and Caroline Hill.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church – Hubbells Corner from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
