Marion Windholtz, age 77, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 13, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Andrew and Laura Hambo Gilmartin. She married James F. Windholtz on April 27, 1957 and he survives. She was a dedicated mother and wife who enjoyed camping, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, flowers and her dogs. Those left to honor Marion's memory include her husband of over 56 years, Jim Windholtz; son, James T. (Paula) Windholtz of Sunman; grandchildren, Jason (Sarah), Brittany (Jake), Michelle (Ryan), and Derek (Laura); and 2 great grandchildren, Grace and James. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters, Cindy and Laura Windholtz; son, David Windholtz; and several sisters and brothers. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The memorial Mass, officiated by Father Barry Windholtz begins at 10:30.
