Marjorie Darlene Gatrost, of Connersville, was born on November 24, 1937 in New Albany, Indiana, the daughter of Lawrence and Goldie Edwards Brown.  She married Donald Lee Gatrost and he preceded her in death.  Marjorie was a CAN, retiring after 25 years of service.  She also was a member of Laurel Church of Christ, and a prior member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Marjorie enjoyed reading her bible, poetry, shopping and watching television.  On Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the age of 80, she passed away at Reid Health in Richmond.

Those surviving who will cherish Marjorie's memory include her son, Ralph Gatrost II of Connersville; daughters, Elizabeth Darlene (Mike) Miller of Louisville, KY, and Donna Lee (Cary) Krebs of Henry County, KY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty (Tom) Cronninger; a son-in-law, Jesse Shipp; step-daughter, Joyce Marie Gatrost, and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melody Shipp and a son, Donald Lee Gatrost, Jr.
