Mark A. Shoemaker, 48, of Cambridge City, died on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Reid Hospital in Richmond.

Mark was born in Connersville, on April 15, 1970, to Albert and Ceattie Feltner Shoemaker. He was employed at various factories until his disability due to illness. Mark was a member of Plum Grove Pentecostal Church and the Brookville American Legion.

Mark is survived by two sisters: Wanda Transler and husband Troy of Cambridge City, and Ann Reinier and husband, Butch of Bath; three brothers: Paul Shoemaker and wife Betty of Brookville, Charles Shoemaker and wife, Susie of Metamora, and Robert Shoemaker of Brookville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anita Shoemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home ~ 929 Main Street ~ Brookville with Bill Nolty officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
