Mary L. Day, of Florence, was born on April 2, 1928 at home in Lawrenceburg, a daughter to Carl and Irene Parker Swango.  She married Raymond Day on October 26, 1957 in Bright and together they raised one son.  Mary enjoyed time spent with her family and talking on the phone. On Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the age of 90 she passed away at Dearborn County Hospital after a brief illness.

Those surviving who will cherish Mary's memory include her son, Gary (Tina) Day of Florence; two grandsons, Gregory (Felicia) Day of Florence, KY, and Adam (Paige Taylor) Day of Florence; great-grandchildren, Easton, Paisley, Shay, Sara, and Kaitlyn; two sisters, Janetta Bentle and Ruth Fryman; one brother, Lloyd Swango, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Ruby Woliung and Dora Harness.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
