Mary Eddie Lewis, of Laurel, was born on March 19, 1927 in Paris, Scott County, Kentucky a daughter to Frank and Stella Tinwell Tackett.  She married Wallace Lewis and he preceded her in death in 1990.  Mary was a member of Alpine Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Benchmark day services in Connersville.  She loved singing, being with friends and family, going to church and community outings.  Mary loved and was loved by all those who knew her.  On Sunday, February 17, at the age of 91 she passed away at Heritage House in Connersville.

Mary is survived by householder, Crystal (Mom) and Jonathan (Dad) Cox and family of Connersville; loved ones, Jonathan, Jr., Adrianna, and Kirsten Cox, Lodema Strikeleather, Connie Wilt, and several friends at Archer Services and IPMG Case Management.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Lewis Family Cemetery near Buena Vista.  Pastor Tony Stidham, Rev. David Goins and Glen Goins will officiate a memorial service to celebrate her life on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Alpine Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church, 6300 S. Garrison Road, Connersville, Indiana.
