Mary Ella Stark, 95, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away late Sunday evening, October 7, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.She was born May 14, 1917 in Florence Kentucky, a daughter of the late Noah and Glendora (Tanner) Zimmerman.Mary married Charles Daniel Stark on November 13, 1947 in Florence, Kentucky. She previously was employed at Donaldson Art Sign Company in Covington, Kentucky. Mary enjoyed quilting and loved hymnal music. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Danny) Canterbury of Sunman, IN; step-sons, Charles A. Stark of Guam and Harry Stark of Fairfield, OH; brothers, Harold Zimmerman of Burlington, KY and Marvin Zimmerman of Erlanger, KY; grandchildren, Jason David Canterbury, Joshua Ray Canterbury, Stephen Stark, Douglas Stark, Debbie Norman, and Cindy Stark; great-grandchildren, Amy Stark, Michael Stark, Abby Stark, Brittany Stark, Brianne Stark, Brandon Stark, and Andrew NormanBesides her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph; sister, Dorothy Byland; brother Robert Zimmerman; and sister Elizabeth McKenny. Visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday evening, October 10, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Ocotober 11, 2012 with 11 a.m. funeral service at Hopeful Lutheran Church, 6431 Hopeful Road, Florence, Kentucky.
