Michael John Ripperger, age 65, of Brookville, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Brookville Healthcare Center. Born July 28, 1949 in Batesville, Indiana, he was a son to Frank and Frances Geis Ripperger. Those surviving who will honor Michael's memory include sisters, Janet Fuchs of Dover and Marian Ratz of Brookville; brothers, Francis (Wilma) Ripperger of Oak Forest, and Charles (Margaret) Ripperger of Guilford, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rita, and brothers James, Melvin and Sylvester Ripperger. A Mass of Christian burial, celebrated by Rev. Sean Danda, is Thursday, October 2, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Visitation is at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
