Mrs. Davis, widow of Chester L. Davis, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Columbia, SC where she resided since 2003. Born in Stone Lake Township, WI, she was a daughter of the late Charles Enoch Yeadon and Lulu Viola Peterson Yeadon of Janesville, WI. Mrs. Davis finished high school in Janesville and was a graduate of Miami University at Oxford, Ohio. She was a resident of Oxford, Ohio from 1955 until 1966 and in Columbus, Ohio from 1966 until 2003.Survivors include her son, Larry (Joann) Davis of Sauk Village, IL; step grandchildren, Karen Sherwood, Elizabeth Pendergraft, Deborah Etienne, Rachel Etienne, Denise Etienne, James Krask, Allison Krask; her son-in-law, Greg Rice of Columbia, SC and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 60 years, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Sue Rice; brother, Laverne Oliver Yeadon and Charles Enoch Yeadon; and a step grandson, Daniel Krask.Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Old Franklin Cemetery.
