Nancy Jane Ahaus, 43, of Cincinnati and formerly of Yorkville, Indiana, died October 19, 2013. She was born November 6, 1969 to Frank E. and Anna Mae Roark Ahaus in Dearborn County. She worked at Defender Security in sales for 15 years in the Sunman area. She loved bingo, horse racing, Facebook, animals; and referred to her dogs as her "kids", crocheting, cross-stitch, and loved fishing and spending time with her family, especially her parents. Survivors include her father, Frank Ahaus of Yorkville; 5 brothers, Francis (Kim) Ahaus of Cincinnati, Johnny (Paula) Ahaus of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Tommy Ahaus of Dillsboro, Chris (Jane) Ahaus of Aurora and William Ahaus of Yorkville; 3 sisters, Sandy (Gary) Stenger of Sunman, Mary (Rick) Clark of Dillsboro, and Tamie Ahaus of Milan, special friend, Harry Hall, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew and Nancy Jane Ahaus also grandparents Arnie and Lou Roark; sister, Debbie Ahaus; 2 aunts, Dana Craig and Ola Simon; nephews, Andy Stenger and Josh Garrison, and 1 great-nephew, Kyle Garrison Visitation for friends and family will be from 4-8 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.
