Obituary

Norma J. Yingst, of Liberty, was born on July 26, 1933 in Greenback, Tennessee the daughter of Elbert and Massie Wagoner Bryant.  She graduated from Greenback High School and then married Ed Tuck and had two children.  Norma later married Harold Yingst in 1971.  She worked at Belden for over 25 years.  Norma was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and football.  On Tuesday, July 10, 2018 she passed away at the age of 84 at Heritage House in Connersville.

Those surviving who will cherish Norma's memory include her daughter, Sharon Lindsey of Liberty; son, Glen (Lisa) Tuck of Ingalls; 3 grandchildren, Keri Lindsey, Kristi Tuck and Kimberly Tuck; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Tuck and Kayley Miller; 4 sisters, Elsie Shepard and June Quillen, both of Lenoir City, TN, and Susan Floyd and Judy Bryant of Knoxville, TN; one brother, Bill Bryant of Chattanooga, TN; one brother-in-law, Jerry Heaton of Greenback, TN and one sister-in-law, Maggie Bryant of Greenback.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Yingst; an infant daughter, Fern Adanna Yingst; two sisters, Mildred McNabb and Carolyn Heaton; one brother, Charles Bryant; 4 brothers-in-law, John Shepard, W.N. McNabb, Ray Floyd, Robert Quillen, and a special nephew, Blake Russell.
