Patricia C. Hancock, of Brookville, was born on November 17, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter to Gary and Laura Shepherd Sears.  She married Karl Hancock on June 2, 1985 in Bradenton, Florida and together they raised three children.  Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and taking care of her exotic birds.  On Friday, February 21, 2025 at the age of 60, she passed away at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  Patricia's selflessness will help multiple others through her amazing gift of tissue donation.

Those surviving who will cherish Patricia's memory include her loving husband of almost 40 years, Karl Hancock; children, Karl E. Jr. (Sandra) Hancock, Amanda (Scott) Martin, and Timothy Hancock; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Following cremation, friends and family are welcome to gather and celebrate Patricia's life from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.
