Paul E. Disney, 84, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana. He was born March 1, 1928 to Robert C. Disney and Minta Dobson in Anco, Kentucky. He married Georgia M. Greenwell on April 16, 1949 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on September 20, 2005. He retired from Fernald after 37 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and sightseeing, especially to the Smoky Mountains and Red River Gorge.Survivors include 3 daughters; Linda K. (Robert) Ellison of Milan, Indiana, Georgia LeAnne (Michael) Bushorn of Milan, and Joy Marie Disney (partner Chris Horton) of Osgood, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Sharon Disney of Milan, Indiana; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.Besides his parents and wife Georgia, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Paul Disney, Jr.; and 3 brothers, Don, Damon and William Disney. Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Milan, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sunman Rescue 20 Squad.
