Phyllis J. Kocher, of Brookville, was born on November 28, 1940 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of Hubert and Laurel Lenore Van Atta Grimme.  She married Paul Kocher on May 19, 1962 at St. Michael Church and he survives.  Phyllis retired from Avon after 30 years of employment.  She was a member of the Brookville United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  On Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the age of 75, Phyllis passed away at Mercy Health in Fairfield.

Those surviving who will cherish Phyllis' memory include her husband Paul; children, Jeff (Robin) Kocher, Jerry (Cathy) Kocher, and Janie (Tracy) Hunt, all of Brookville; grandchildren, Kayla (Chandler), Jared, Brady, Taylor, Devan, Heather and Tali, and great grandchildren, Mason, Kinley and Landon.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10 a.m. till time of service at 2 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Pastor Curtis Bond will officiate the funeral service.  Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery in Liberty, Indiana.
