Ray E. Seiter, 87, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at his residence.He was born July 21, 1922 in Springfield township, Franklin County, Indiana to Lawrence and Mary (Barbour) Seiter. He Farmed the family farm in Springfield Township, drove a school bus for Springfield High School for over 22 years before becoming the owner of the Conwell Shoe Store in Connersville, Indiana which he owned for 23 years before retiring in 1990. He was a former member of numerous service clubs and organizations.Srvivors include his wife Mitzi B. (Hirt) Seiter; Daughter and Son-in-law, Nikki and Rick Hofer of Brookville, Indiana, Son- Donald Seiter of Brookville, Indiana, Son and Daughter-in-law Fred and Lynda Seiter of Cary, Illinois, Son and Daughter-in-law Tom and Denise Seiter of Bozeman, Montana, Grandchildren, Steven and Marla Hofer, Kyle and Rachel Hofer, Candace and Dustin Robbins, Ryan Seiter and Rachael Seiter, Great Grandchildren Alexis Hofer, Payton Robbins and Patrick Robbins.In addition to his Parents he was preceded by a brother, Harold Seiter.The Visitation will be Tuesday February 2, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana 47012. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday February 3, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 145 St. Michael Blvd., Brookville, Indiana 47012. Burial will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.Memorial Donations may be given to the St. Michael School or the Franklin County Community Foundation.Family members will serve as pallbearers
