Raymond A. Snyder, age 80, of St. Peters, Indiana passed away Monday, May 12 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. Born October 23, 1933 in Connersville, he was a son to Raymond A., Sr. and Louise Bunyard Snyder. Raymond married Anna M. Riehle on September 14, 1974 at St. Nicholas Church in Sunman. He served his country as part of the United States Army for two years. Raymond farmed and worked at Romweber's in Batesville. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his family. Those surviving who will honor Raymond's memory include his wife, Anna M. Snyder; brother John Snyder of Connersville; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, good neighbors and many friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Harold Snyder. Visitation is Friday, May 16, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial, officiated by Father Humbert Moster will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery, Connersville with military honors.
