Renee Molter, 69, passed away on March 19, 2015 at her residence in Indianapolis surrounded by her friends. She was born February 14, 1946 to the late William and Laverne Molter in Milan, Indiana. She graduated from Aurora High School in 1964 and subsequently received a B.S degree in Physical Education and Health at Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a very avid sports fan all her life. After a successful career of thirty six years as a Unit Secretary of the Out-Patient Surgery Center at Methodist Hospital, she mastered her personal career of yard landscaping often receiving the admiration of the community for her efforts in her skillful arrangements and grooming of shrubs and flowers. Her generosity and helpfulness to her neighbors and friends are some of her greatest legacies. She was a lot of things to a lot of people who enjoyed life, friends and fine things and simple pleasures of life. She is survived by her sister Donna Mavis of Albany, IN, and her two nephews, Michael Mavis of Albany, IN, and Bradley Mavis of Middletown, IN, and many devoted friends she called family. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Manchester, IN. A Memorial Service will be held at that church on Saturday, March 28, 2015 starting at12 noon. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
