Richard Claude Deaton, age 45, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Born February 15, 1970 in Cincinnati, he was the son of Carlos G. Deaton and Cindy R. Byrd. Richard was self-employed as a painter, and in his spare time he loved to fish. Those surviving who will cherish Richard's memory include his son, Steven Allan Reis-Deaton of Versailles, KY; mother, Cindy R. Deaton of Cincinnati; brother, Carlos Deaton of Houston, TX, sister, Rhonda Bessette of Myrtle Beach, NC, sister, April Larkin of Loveland, OH, sister, Lisa Ward of Missouri, and brother Brian Deaton of Tega Cay, SC. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Angela Powell. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 2, at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana.
