Richard A. Russell, age 60, of St. Peters, died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg.He was born October 17, 1953 to Kenneth N. and Phyllis A.Womack Russell in Batesville, Indiana. Richard served his country in The United States Army, both active and Reserve. He was a quality control technician, having worked for the Trane Company in Rushville and Randell Textron in Greensburg. His degree was from Purdue University. Richard was a member of the St. Joseph Post #464 American Legion in St. Leon.Those left to honor Richard's memory include; brother, Donald Russell of Crawfordsville, IN; sisters, Connie Summers of Batesville, and Susan Kraus of Milan; son, Christopher Russell-Kincaid of Franklin, IN; 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 nephew.Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church, St. Peters, Indiana from 10-11:30 a.m. Deacon Bob Decker will officiate the services beginning at 11:30. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors provided by St. Joseph American Legion Post #464 of St. Leon.Memorial contributions may be directed to the Indiana MS Society and Mass Intentions.
