Rita A. Munchel, 82, of Brookville, Indiana passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2011 at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford, Ohio.She was born June 9th, 1928 in Saint Peters, Indiana to Alphonse and Gertrude (Ratheiser) Erhart.She was married to Harry J. Munchel who preceded her in death on October 9th, 2003.She was a member of Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Brookville, Indiana, she was also a Homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening.Survivors include Daughters- Darlene (Don) Hohman of Connersville, Indiana, Linda (Jay) Brattain of Liberty, Indiana, Sons- Gerald (Kim) Munchel of Brookville, Indiana, Gary (Joyce) Munchel of Sunman, Indiana, Grndchildren- Lisa and Julie Hohman, Brian, Brad and Alicia Munchel, Jackie, Mark and Michelle, Munchel and Ryan Brattain, Justin Brattain and Kayla Gray. Sister-Dorothy Rennekamp of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brother- Al 'Bud' Erhart of Saint Peters, Indiana.She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Sister- Velma Rennekamp, Brother- Vic Erhart.Visitation will be Thursday, January 6th, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana 47012, with Rosary service at 3:45 PM.Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 7th, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Saint Michaels Catholic Church, in Brookville, Indiana. Rev. Tom Bolte, Pastor of Saint Theresa of Avala, of Price Hill, Ohio will preside.
