Robert R. Arcaro, of Metamora, was born on October 17, 1939 in Mt. Healthy, Ohio, one of 17 children to Harry and Claire Carlucci Arcaro. He owned and operated Bob's Construction. Robert also served in the National Guard. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time at the casinos. On Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the age of 77, Robert passed away at his residence.

Survivors include step-children, Russ Spoeckelmeier of Springboro, OH; Robin Spoeckelmeier Clarke of New Berne, NC, and Shawn Arcaro of Okeana, OH; grandchildren, Laura, Wyatt, Sammy Jo, Brandon, Kennedy, and Kamden. 10 brothers and sisters also survive. Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by wife, Carol S. Arcaro Chappell on April 29, 2010, and six siblings.

A memorial visitation for friends and family is Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana.
