Robert "Keith" Coffey, age 74, of Bath, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born June 27, 1940 in Hamilton, OH, he was the son of Robert G. Coffey and Gladys Hammer Coffey. Keith married Dianne Marie Strunck on February 23, 1963 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville. He worked at Oxford Farm Service and was manager of Oxford Lanes, where he retired from after 35 years. Keith was a member of the Franklin County 4-H Association and served on the Swine Committee, which he loved. He was also a member of the Bath Conservation Club and the Franklin County Antique Machinery Club. Keith was an avid bowler, loved mowing grass, John Deere tractors and Christmas decorations. Those surviving who will honor Keith's memory include his wife of 51 years, Dianne; children, Sue (Kevin) Hoffman of Rushville, Sandy (Doug) Lewis of Beech Grove, Nancy Coffey (Jeff McCloud) of Crawfordsville, Angie Coffey of Bath, and Jeffrey K. Coffey of Bath; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Albert (Phyllis) Coffey of Bath, and Donald Gene (Arlene) Coffey of Liberty, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Helen Jeannine Coffey. Visitation is Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Big Cedar Cemetery.
