Robert Joseph Hartman, age 63, of Sunman, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his residence. Born January 10, 1952 in Batesville, he was the son of Clarence and Elvira Weber Hartman. On June 10, 1978 he married Dotty C. Bradley in Lawrenceburg. Robert worked at J&J Packaging for over 20 years and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Hubbell's Corner. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and anything that took him outdoors. Those surviving who will honor Robert's memory include his wife of 37 years, Dotty Hartman; children, Robert C. Hartman of Milan, Bryon D. Hartman, Mark A. Hartman, Bradley J. Hartman, David L. Hartman and Bridget Ballew, all of Sunman, and Regina Walter of Canaan, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kendra Goff Hartman. Visitation for friends and family is on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Hubbell's Corner. Pastor Tom Frey will officiate the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Evangelical Union Cemetery, next to the church.
