Robert Edward "Eddie" Lee, age 62, of Brookville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born December 2, 1952 in Rushville, Indiana, he was the son of Morton and Norma Lovins Lee. He served his country in the United States Army. Robert was employed at Batesville Casket Company for the past 17 years. A few of his favorite past times included fishing, processing deer, and gardening. And although Robert loved to cook he also enjoyed eating the chicken at Dairy Cottage. Those surviving who will honor Robert's memory include his mother, Norma Thompson of Laurel; father, Morton Lee of Laurel; loving companion, Syble Kindred of Harrison, Ohio; brother, Dave (Debbie) Lee of Brookville; sister, Vickie (Jerry) Ratliff of Laurel; brother, Gary (Linda) Lee of Harrison; sons , Rob (Wanda) Lee of Brookville, Mickey (Julie) Lee of Brookville, Jason Lee of Louisville, Kentucky and Christopher Lee of Shelbyville; daughters, Angie Lee of Brookville, Kristy (Bobby) Johnson of Harrison, and Misty (Van) Carnes of Harrison; and 8 grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. Pastor Rob Edwards of Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
