Robert T. Rosemeyer, 84, of Sunman, Indiana died Monday, October 5, 2009 at his residence.He was born on April 23, 1925 in Sunman, Indiana at the Home Place. He was the son of William E. and Clara E. (Woliung) Rosemeyer.On February 4, 1956 he married Evelyn J. Emsweller in the Methodist Church in Batesville, Indiana. She preceded him in death on February 20, 2007.He was a retired employee of Hillenbrand Industries and he also farmed. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and life time member of St. Lohns Lutheran Church in Hubbells Corner, Indiana.Survivors include his Son, Bill Rosemeyer, of Sunman, Indiana; and Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. In addition to his Wife, Evelyn Rosemeyer, and his Parents, he was preceded in death by his Son, Timothy Rosemeyer; one Sister, Elma Kissinger; and one Brother, Elmer Rosemeyer.Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, 47041. Visitation will also be Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 12523 North Dearborn Road, Sunman, Indiana, 46041. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Church. Dr. Daniel L. Nugent will officiate. Burial will be in the Evangelical Union Cemetery in Hubbells Corner, Indiana with Military Honors provided by the Sunman American Legion - Kenneth L. Diver Post #337. Memorial donations may be directed to the Memorial fund of St. Johns Lutheran Church or to Hospice of MMHC (Margaret Mary Community Hospital) in Batesville, Indiana. Members of the Mens Group of St. John Lutheran Church will serve as Pallbearers.
