Rose Lee Reese (nee Peters) passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati on October 31, 2023, at the age of 91. Rose was born in Decatur County Indiana on October 2, 1932. She grew up with her sister, Norma, in Southeastern Indiana. After graduating from Bright High School, she began working as a secretary, spending most of her career at Fernald in Ross, Ohio, retiring in 1995. She was a founding member of the First Baptist Church of Harrison, Ohio.

Beloved Nanny to three grandchildren; Melissa (Kevin) Hanlon, Veronica (Jayde) Dent, and Chris Russell; five great-grandchildren; Stephanie Church, Gabrielle Dent, Samantha Church, Morgan Dent, and Michael Church III; and two great-great grandchildren; Kaylee Adams and KJ Adams. Aunt to Joy (Charlie) Henderson; great-aunt to Kristi Isaacs and David Kirschner.

Preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Emma Peters; husband, Herlon Reese; son, Ron Russell; and her "little-big sis", Norma Redmon.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to honor her life to make donations in her name to Hospice of Cincinnati or a charity of the donor's choice.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at 2:30pm at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
