Roy Lewis, of Metamora, was born on March 22, 1944 in Lawrenceburg, the son of Daniel and Katy Hall Lewis.  He worked roofing and construction most of his life and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.  Roy loved spending time with his family and listening to country music.  On Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the age of 76, he passed away at his residence.

Those surviving who will honor Roy's memory include his children, April (Roger) Beard of Metamora, Roy Lewis of Batesville, Donald (Mandy) Lewis of Batesville, Stanley (Lisa) Lewis of Batesville, and Linda (Brian) McQueen of Greensburg; 30 grandkids; 20 great-grandkids; three sisters, Katy Lewis of Smyrna, TN, Mona Hughes of West Chester, OH, and Linda Anderson of Dickson, TN, and one brother, Toby Lewis of Osgood.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy Boyd and May Lewis; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Merritt; four sisters, and five brothers.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 11a.m. until time of service at 1p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman.  Burial will follow in Craven Cemetery, Milan.
