Ruth C. Fohl, 90, of Brookville, Indiana passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.She was born March 31, 1921 in Whitewater Township, Franklin County, Indiana to Michael and Mary (Brewer) Fohl.She was a member of St. Michael Church and the Daughters of Isabella and was an avid supporter of community events.Survivors include: Sisters- Carolyn Pratt of Deer Park, Washington, Virginia Monroe of Centralia, Washington, Sister in law- Estell Fohl of Phoenix, Arizona, several Nieces and Nephews and members of her extended family- Marge and David Barrett of Brookville, Indiana and their family, Tim and Kirsten Barrett, Brian and Michelle Barrett and their families and Deborah Barrett.She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sisters- Dorothy Fohl, Martha J. Fohl and Frances Schuck, a Brother- William Fohl.Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville, Indiana 47012, with Rosary service at 3:45 PM.Funeral Mass will be Saturday, August 20, 2011, 10:00 AM, at St. Michael Church in Brookville, burial will be in Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery in Cedar Grove, Indiana.Memorials may be given to Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church Endowment Fund c/o the Franklin County Community Foundation or given for Masses.
