Ruth C. Harper, age 88, of Cedar Grove, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Brookville Healthcare Center. Born February 16, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Franklin and Elizabeth Kellum Myers. Ruth was married Wilbur Harper and who passed away January 31, 2000. She and her husband were long time owners of the Whitewater Bait Shop retiring in 1987. Ruth was a member of New Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton. Those surviving include daughters, Janet (Dean) Lischkge of Moores Hill, Judy (John) Martin of West Harrrison, and Teresa (Scott) Borgman of Cedar Grove; son, Tom ( Rita) Skeen of Harrison; along with her grandchildren and great grand grandchildren. Private graveside services will be at Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles, Indiana. Family requests donations to be made to the Parkinsons Foundation.
