Sara Kaylene Cox, of Andersonville, was born on November 7, 1993 in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of Jeff and Heather Hunter Cox.  She was a graduate of the 2012 class of North Decatur High School.  Sara loved animals and being outdoors.  She especially enjoyed fishing, hiking and watching movies.  On Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the age of 22, Sara passed away at Fayette Memorial Hospital.

Those surviving who will cherish Sara's memory include her father, Jeff Cox of Metamora; mother, Heather Cox of Andersonville; brother and sister Chad and Summer Cox of Metamora;  grandparents, Karen and Mike Hunter of Rushville and Sue and Herb Halcomb of Metamora.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Caleb M. Cox on October 9, 2008.

Visitation and services will be held at Metamora Church of God on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. till time of service at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow in Cupps Chapel Cemetery.
