Scharlene C. Reister, of Cincinnati, was born on July 19, 1952 in Milan, IN the daughter of Orville and Charlotte Talbe Gesell.  She graduated from Brookville High School and later worked as a bartender.  Scharlene enjoyed spending time with her friends.  On Monday, May 7, 2018 at the age of 65 she passed away.

Survivors include three uncles, Robert Gesell of St. Leon, Gerald Lake of Batesville, Keith Tebbe of Brookville, and Harold Feller of Brookville; two aunts, Rosie Gesell and Mildred Gesell, both of Brookville, and a half-sister, Jennifer Hall of Collinsville, OH and stepsister Linda Abrams of Oxford, OH.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Pastor Michael Holman will officiate a Memorial service on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Friends and family may visit one hour prior to services.  Burial will be at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery.
