Sharon Ann
Singer
September 26, 1949 – September 26, 2024
Sharon Ann (nee Deffner) Singer, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully on her 75th birthday. She was born September 26, 1949 in Batesville, Indiana to Alfred and Alma (nee Pulskamp) Deffner.
Sharon was the true definition of a Social Butterfly. With the most forgiving of hearts, she chose to find the good in everybody and everything. As an active member of St. John the Evangelist, Sharon volunteered many hours serving as a Eucharistic Minister, leading programs, and working booths at the yearly festival. While she loved to save a penny, Sharon also loved to shop. Good thing TJ Maxx was just down the street!
Sharon refused to look at life with a negative attitude. Whatever life handed to her, she accepted with grace. A valiant warrior, Sharon fought incredibly hard these last 2 years against pancreatic cancer. Her quiet strength and bravery inspired many and to her family, she will forever be remembered as the strongest woman they have ever known. The bright light that Sharon Singer was will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew her.
Sharon was preceded in death by: parents, Alfred and Alma Deffner; infant sister, Wilma Deffner; and siblings, Ron Deffner and Velma Dieckmann.
Sharon is survived by: children, Lori (Josh) Boyle, Kim (Brett) Eccleston, and Ashley Singer; grandchildren, Kylie Boyle, Jimmy Eccleston, and Ashton Eccleston; grandpuppy, Charlie; brother, Dale Deffner; sister, Pat Naayers; and many loving family members and friends.
Sharon will be laid to rest in Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery
