Stanley "Bud" Geiling White, 94, of Blooming Grove, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ohio. He was born April 29, 1919 in Alquina, Indiana to Russell and Hazel (Geiling) White. He married Marilyn Woodmansee on February 27, 1939 in Falmouth, Kentucky, and she preceded him in death on December 15, 2011. Bud had been an auctioneer and livestock dealer since 1937, following in his father's footsteps. He was an important part of the Agricultural Community in numerous communities and states. Those surviving who will honor Bud's memory include; daughter and son-in-law, Stanlee and Henry Weller of Kokomo; son and daughter-in-law, David and Paula White of Brookville; 6 grandchildren, Andrea Mears, DVM of Chicago, IL, April Plank of Tampa, FL, Dr. Jonathan White of Brookville, Mari Schuman of St. Leon, Tony Price of Indianapolis, and Dawn Webster of Kokomo; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ivan White, of Brookville. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, June White.Visitation for friends and family will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.
