Tammy L. Salatin, age 48, of Sunman, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at her residence. Born on February 6, 1967, in Batesville; she was the daughter of Darrell and Patricia Ann Guenther Salatin. Tammy was a former greeter at Wal-Mart and involved in the Day Program at New Horizons. She was part of ARC of Indiana and bowled in the Special Olympics. Tammy loved arts and crafts, enjoyed Facebook and other social media, and playing Candy Crush. She spent a lot of time talking on the phone and watching sports, especially rooting for the Reds and I.U. Tammy loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her father and step-mother, Darrell and Kristy Salatin of Lawrenceburg; siblings, Tracy (Rick) Meyer of Oldenberg, Theresa (Nick) Schmelzer of Cincinnati, and Jonathan (Emilie) Salatin of Lawrenceburg. Also surviving are 10 nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Salatin, on March 12, 1976; grandparents, Bob and Pearl Guenther, Clarence and Irene Salatin and Luther and Neetz Lindeman. Friends may visit with Tammy's family from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hubbells Corner. Services, officiated by Pastor Tom Frey will begin at 4:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Evangelical Union Cemetery, next to the church.
